Ryan Gillespie is an expert on solar E-Bikes. He is the founder and owner of Sol-Mobil.
Ryan´s passion for, and the potential impact of light electric vehicles, inspired the founding of Sol Mobil in Winston-Salem, NC USA in 2018. Ryan was the first American to participate in a SunTrip event in 2017, and is now a member of their board of trustees. For 7+ years, Ryan has pursued light electric vehicle technology, having researched bike shares, natural fiber composite materials and solar electric technology.
An innovator at heart, Ryan is constantly designing solutions and is passionate about applying appropriate, enjoyable, and meaningful solutions for a sustainable future!
Ryan holds his BS in Appropriate Technology from Appalachian State University.
