As a Systems Engineer and Architect who believes the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts, I apply Systems Thinking and Systems Architecture method wherever possible! My primary projects at this time support the Global evolution of Light Electric Vehicles, #LEVs.

In addition to employment and volunteer activities noted below, I am a Certified Open Group Architect and Architect Certification mentor and instructor (http://opengroup.org/certifications/professional/open-ca ). I am also a Senior Member of IEEE, a certified instructor for the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) Technician Training program, and an Amateur Extra radio operator, call sign W4CHL. During a career at IBM, GE, Duke University, Virginia Tech, Cornell University, and IntraHealth International, I have had technical and leadership roles in Systems Engineering and System Architecture. It has been my provilege to provide technical leadership to regional and global technical teams, incorporating Systems Thinking principles into global solutions for industry and government.

As a former runner, still cycling and swimming, I am active in teaching, coaching, and supporting the next generation of leaders through sport!
