Karla Sommer is a successful amateur German cyclist who was a member of the German national youth team. As such, she has a vast experience of bikes and bike products. She founded and runs the trade and consulting agency Velokin. Her company’s mission is to understand the needs of retailers and end users regarding products, before they enter the market. She is also an Eurobike Award judge and Women in Cycling ambassador helping to empower women in the cycling sector.

Women in Cycling’s ultimate goal is to diversify the cycling sector. In this panel discussion, we want to focus on the status quo in the cycling industry to define the tools and approaches that will help make the cycling industry more diverse and inclusive.
