Alex Thusbass is a Managing Director Kiska Munich GmbH.

With almost two decades of experience and 30 design- and innovations awards, Alex is considered to be one of the most influential designers & fore thinkers in the eBike industry. He played a major role in the rise of the eMountainbike in general and of Haibike as the leading brand. He developed Haibike`s significant design language and introduced innovations such as the Motor Skid Plate or the integrated motor concept, that have been widely adapted and became market standards. Alex also led Haibike’s marketing on a strategic and operational level, with its sharp position and significant brand appearance as result. He founded the Haibike Design Center in Munich as the epicenter for design, innovation & digitalization.

Being a child of the of the digital era, Alex also has a deep passion for digitalization. That’s why he introduced 2014 the ground breaking and award winning DealerCenter, a digital advising and sales system for retailers that is used by 800 dealers and is considered to be the first and so far, most successful Point of Advise and Sale.

After his farewell of Haibike in 2017, he has founded the DealerCenter Digital GmbH, a tech start-up, that is dedicated to digitize retail. The first product introduced is the successor of the DealerCenter, the BikeCenter, an open digital platform especially for the light mobility retail, that is used by around 500 dealers already.

Alex loves to share he’s ideas and visions on stage, that’s why he is a demanded key note speaker and jury member (Eurobike Award, Focus eBike Award, D.I. Award etc.).
