(b) If you are participating as an individual:
- Your full name, age, gender, and email address.
- Name of your investor and amount invested in your idea.

8. Advertising and Newsletters
By registering for and attending the EBIKE FUTURE X STARTUP PITCHING COMPETITION 2025, you consent to KJION Technology GmbH sending you advertising materials and newsletters to the email address provided during registration.
Withdrawing Consent
- You may withdraw your consent at any time by:
- Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any newsletter.

Publication of Reports and Advertisements

9. Invitations to Other Competitions
KJION Technology GmbH and its organizing partners (peterkovacs.eu Kft and Ebike Steve Global, s.r.o.) may send you invitations via email to participate in other startup competitions. You can decide whether you wish to participate.
10. Data Security Measures
KJION Technology GmbH implements regular security tests on the third-party servers it utilizes. If vulnerabilities are identified, the respective service providers are promptly notified to ensure necessary fixes are applied.
Handling Data Protection Incidents
KJION Technology GmbH follows strict security protocols to prevent data protection incidents. In the event of a security breach, KJION Technology GmbH will:
- Take immediate action to contain and mitigate risks.

Jury and Partners

No Background Checks Conducted
KJION Technology GmbH does not conduct background checks on applicants. Consequently, the company has no knowledge of any involvement of applicants or companies in fraud or illegal activities beyond the information disclosed in the applications.
Reporting Illegal Activities
If you become aware of an individual, startup, or company involved in illegal activities, you must report this to the relevant legal authorities. KJION Technology GmbH is not responsible for investigating or adjudicating such matters.
15. Revocation of Titles and Disqualification
Grounds for Revocation
KJION Technology GmbH retains the right to:
- Reject any applicant
- Withdraw any nomination
- Revoke any title
This decision may be made based on a substantiated claim supported by non-digital proof (i.e., an authenticated final court decision against a finalist, winner, jury member, or partner).
Submission of a Claim
To submit a revocation claim:
- A hard-copy, authenticated final court decision must be sent to KJION Technology GmbH’s official postal address.
- The document must be verified and authorized by relevant legal authorities in Austria.
- All costs associated with submitting a revocation claim must be borne by the claimant.
This process ensures that all revocation decisions are legally sound and fair.
Commitment to Competition Integrity
KJION Technology GmbH operates the EBIKE FUTURE X STARTUP PITCHING COMPETITION 2025 as a community-driven initiative, relying on the accuracy and integrity of information provided by applicants.
- The competition is based on trust in the applicants’ self-reported data.

CONFIDENTIALITY UNDERTAKING
This Confidentiality Undertaking (“Undertaking”) is made by the undersigned jury member, ambassador, or organizing partner (“Partner”) in connection with their role in the EBIKE FUTURE X STARTUP PITCHING COMPETITION 2025 (“Competition”), organized by KJION Technology GmbH (registered at Niedermoserstrasse 20, 1220 Vienna, Austria, F/N: FN126944h, EU VAT: ATU37347705).
This Undertaking is provided in favor of:
- KJION Technology GmbH (“Organiser”); and
- The startups, entrepreneurs, and other applicants participating in the Competition (“Nominees”).
This Undertaking is binding indefinitely, without consideration, and aims to protect confidential and proprietary information shared during the Competition.
1. Confidentiality
1.1 Definition of Confidential Information
“Confidential Information” refers to any technical, commercial, financial, or personal data disclosed by the Organiser or Nominees to the Partner, whether in written, verbal, electronic, or any other form. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Information about the Nominees’ products, services, ownership structure, investment details, and business plans.
- Personal data of Nominees, as governed by the Privacy Policy.
Confidential Information excludes:
a) Information publicly available or already in the public domain.
b) Information lawfully obtained from a third party not bound by confidentiality obligations.
c) Information independently developed by the Partner.
d) Information made publicly available by the Organiser or Nominees.
1.2 Obligations of the Partner
The Partner agrees to:
i) Keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential.
ii) Use Confidential Information only for the purpose of evaluating and assessing the Nominees within the Competition.
iii) Not disclose Confidential Information to any third party or any internal personnel not involved in the Competition, except:
- Other jury members, if necessary for the evaluation process.
- With prior written consent from the Organiser or the Nominees.
If disclosure is permitted under Clause 1.2(iii), the Partner must:
- Ensure the recipient adheres to the same confidentiality obligations.
- Accept full liability if the recipient breaches confidentiality.
1.3 Legal Disclosure Requirement
The Partner may disclose Confidential Information only if legally required by applicable laws, courts, or authorities. If such a disclosure is necessary, the Partner must:
- Notify the Organiser and the Nominees in advance, whenever possible.
- Disclose only the minimum required information.
1.4 Liability for Breach
The Partner acknowledges the special business interests of the Organiser and Nominees in maintaining confidentiality. A breach of this Undertaking may result in:
- Liability for direct and consequential damages suffered by the Organiser or Nominees.
- Potential legal action under applicable laws.
2. Notification of Unauthorized Disclosure
The Partner must promptly notify the Organiser and the Nominees if they:
- Become aware of any unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information.
- Lose Confidential Information in any way.
Notification must be provided in writing to the official contact details of KJION Technology GmbH.
3. No Reproduction of Confidential Information
The Partner undertakes not to reproduce any Confidential Information by any means, except:
i) With prior written authorization from the Organiser or Nominees.
ii) As strictly necessary to fulfill their obligations within the Competition.
Any copies or reproductions made under this clause shall remain the property of the Organiser or Nominees, and must carry the same confidentiality markings as the original.
4. Return or Destruction of Confidential Information
At the written request of the Organiser or Nominees, the Partner must:
- Return all Confidential Information (and any copies).
- Destroy all Confidential Information (and provide written confirmation of destruction).
The Partner may retain Confidential Information only if legally required, provided that it continues to be treated as strictly confidential.
5. No License or Ownership Rights
The Partner expressly acknowledges that:
- This Undertaking does not grant any rights or licenses regarding patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, or other intellectual property of the Organiser or Nominees.
- All Confidential Information remains the exclusive property of the Organiser or Nominees.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Undertaking shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Undertaking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vienna, Austria.
