Jakub Ditrich (Czechia) is Founder of ekolo.cz, the country’s first e-bike manufacturer, and largest electric bicycle specialised retail + service. Graduating at Academy of Performing Arts Prague in 1994 he fell in love with the online world and founded the full service company, the largest hosting and domain provider in the country at the time. After successful exit in 2005 he was active in wireless technologies and focused on e-mobility as a consultant. In 2007 ekolo.cz was born, primarily to promote personal electric transport, but due the lack of hardware, quickly became a producer (Agogs) and importer of e-bikes. But primarily ekolo.cz in early years was educating mechanical bicycle professionals about this phenomena. His advocacy for better rules led him to EU Petition and being involved in the global ISO 4210-10 standard for e-bikes.
