USA
Speaker bio:

From Madison Avenue in New York, to exhibition and event venues around the globe, Ray Verhelst presents over 40 years of traditional advertising to award-winning face-to-face exhibition event marketing. As one of the original founders of the US traveling experiential show the “eBike Expo”, for three years we presented electric-assist cycling to the general public in more than 22 cities. Additionally, we provided the interactive eBike Pavilion inside of Interbike for three years running.

Specializing in economic development and market research, Ray was responsible for global business building for one of the largest domestic lithium battery cell producers in China and the construction of US-based pack assembly operations, which eventually led to the production of electric-assist bicycles. Working with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development in the State of Nevada, he traveled extensively promoting domestic manufacturing opportunities to Asian companies seeking a North American presence. Ray specialized in Foreign Trade Zone utilization.

Currently, Ray is one of the creators of the new eMobility Experience and Test Track that is working in partnership with CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics trade event and will bring test riding and education to the 2022 event.
